Holly had created her DIY logo on Canva a year before and started her website and social media, with a mix of fonts and graphics that weren't telling her story. She knew to make her business more professional, she needed to hire a professional graphic designer (me!)
Her business offers yoga and mindfulness sessions to pre-teens and teens, via term-time blocks, holiday workshops or private sessions. These will run in yoga studios or hired spaces, and also offer her programmes in schools. The programmes will be designed around themes and concepts to enable students to develop a yoga and mindfulness tool belt to help enhance their overall wellbeing and maintain a healthy, balanced, and flourishing life and also help students to develop greater resilience, focus, emotional regulation,
Holly wanted a fine line, round symbol to represent her business while telling the story or balance, flow, alignment, tranquility and stability, all coming together in a creative/engaging way to reflect the notion of ‘Samatva’.

Symbolism in the design
The Sun (upper half-circle): The sun is a powerful emblem of life, energy, clarity, and transformation. It symbolises self-discovery and enlightenment—guiding individuals on their journey toward inner balance and the students healing with your wellness classes.
Stacked Rocks (five balanced stones): Represent resilience, stability, and mindfulness. They also form a subtle human figure, with the top rock containing a small circle, symbolising a centered and mindful state. These stones reflect the five core elements you wanted to express.
Water Waves / Yoga Mat: This flowing element represents calm, balance, and movement, mirroring the oceanic tones that inspire Holly. It also subtly forms the shape of a yoga mat that the ‘person’ is on, reinforcing harmony and grounding.

‘It was wonderful to work with Kim through my logo, branding and website design. She helped guide me through the creative process and was always responsive and open to my questions and feedback. We worked well together to really create something that reflected my business and values.
