Amity contacted me for her new business, Nestwise Education, which she is an expert for Australian schools and educators (principals and teachers), consulting them in supporting new students who arrive in Australia, who don't know the English language.

Symbolism in the design
Amity offered a few ideas of what she was after, and two of these were a brain and a world to represent the blending of knowledge and global understanding.  So I created an icon which unites the two core visual elements to explore - the brain and the world - into one cohesive, stylised illustration.  The left side is a simplified brain, which represents learning, cognitive development and the academic journey. The right side is a world map, symbolising cultural diversity, international backgrounds and the global perspective that Nestwise Education champions. The outter background unites these two halves together and nurtures them both.
